Warehouse Associate Position
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join a reputable client in Nevada. This role involves supporting the distribution of medical devices and supplies by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. The position is 100% onsite, providing an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking and organization of all incoming and outgoing medical devices and supplies, including labeling, scanning, and logging of items.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring the correct products are selected and meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Shipping & Receiving: Unload deliveries, inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies, and record relevant details for inventory control.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to optimize workflow and ensure safety. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and packaging machines.
- Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Warehouse Manager to reorder medical devices as necessary.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory movements using warehouse management software or manual logs as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, shipping carriers, and the sales team to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications or training in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Knowledge of Bill of Lading.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle medical products safely and accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper handling techniques for medical devices.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO standards) is a plus.
- Experience with barcode scanners, shipping software, and other warehouse tools is preferred.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
